BankFive announced the promotion of several employees within the bank.
The following employees have been promoted to First Vice President, Vice President, Assistant Vice President and Officer positions:
Christopher Craig was promoted to First Vice President, Regional Sales Manager. He joined the Bank in 2018, and has been instrumental in the growth of residential portfolio. Chris has twenty years of experience in mortgage sales and sales management.
Luke A. Lehman, was promoted to Vice President. He started his employment at the Bank in 2010 in Retail and quickly progressed through Credit Administration and to Assistant Vice President, Commercial Lending. Luke has consistently exceeded his goals on an annual basis, possesses solid credit skills and takes on additional responsibility when requested. Luke is active in the community volunteering at Junior Achievement of Southeastern MA, the United Way’s Citizens’ Review Committee, and One Southcoast Chamber of Commerce.
Brittany Schmidt, Assistant Vice President, Commercial Lending was promoted to Vice President. Since rejoining the Bank in 2018, Brittany has quickly become a solid producer having met her sales goals in both 2019 and 2020. Brittany is also involved in the community and sits on the board of directors at the Fall River YMCA.
Allison Pereira was promoted to Vice President, Credit Officer. She has been with the Bank since 2004 and in the Credit group since 2012. She has consistently met or exceeded expectations and is a highly valued member of the team. She is a guest member of the Credit Committee and member of the Loan Review Committee. She attends all Executive Committee meetings and is a member of the Technology Advisory Committee. She earned her MBA from UMass Dartmouth and is a graduate of the management program at Babson and a 2019 graduate of Leadership SouthCoast.
Evan Mazetis, Assistant Vice President, Network Manager was promoted to Vice President. He has been at the Bank for eight years and during this time he has demonstrated his ability to lead the IT Team and become a trusted partner to the business lines. Evan is a driving force behind the IT Strategic Plan that supports the strategy and goals of the Bank. He also manages the Banks infrastructure to insure the availability and reliability of systems and connectivity, while maintaining a secure environment with full disaster recovery capabilities.
Lisa Celio was promoted to Vice President, Mortgage Loan Originator. She has 23 years of mortgage experience at BankFive. She is a loyal employee who has garnered the trust of the BankFive’s customers who rely on her as their mortgage advisor.
Susana Neves Coito was promoted to Vice President, Mortgage Loan Originator. Susana has 29 years of mortgage origination experience and joined BankFive in 2017. She is a dedicated professional who is well regarded in the real estate lending community and an asset to the Bank. Additionally, Susana volunteers her time through the Salvation Army and Catholic Social Services.
Michelle Guertin was promoted to Vice President, Mortgage Loan Originator. Michelle has 23 years of mortgage origination experience and joined BankFive 2020. Michelle works in the Rhode Island market out of the Cranston LPO and has a strong following of past clients. Additionally, she is an active volunteer at her local parish.
James Hanewich was promoted to Vice President, Mortgage Loan Originator. Jim joined BankFive in January 2020 and has over 25 years of mortgage lending experience servicing the Norfolk county market. In addition, Jim is active in the Wrentham real estate community and where he resides with his wife and family.
Michael Mendonca was promoted to Vice President, Mortgage Loan Originator. Michael has 26 years of mortgage origination experience and joined BankFive in 2020. A native of Bristol, he has become an integral part of the Bristol team.
Monica Botelho was promoted to Assistant Vice President, Mortgage Loan Originator. Monica joined BankFive from a retail banking background and went through a training program in 2018 to become a mortgage loan originator. Monica is an excellent ambassador for BankFive and represents the bank well in the community.
Cheryl A. Bennett was promoted to Officer, Governance Manager and Business Analyst. Cheryl has been a self-starter since she joined the bank a year ago. She is responsible for all Board administration and governance activities. Cheryl actively participates on the Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity Council and is a member of BankFive’s Charitable Giving Committee.
