Little did Donna know when she started as a part-time teller that she would become a mainstay with BankFive. Today, she is an Assistant Vice President, Loan Servicing Manager working in the bank's main office. Her responsibilities include overseeing all the consumer, residential, and commercial loans the bank makes. “We are the problem-solving department for loans,” she says.
A resident of Somerset, Donna received a business administration degree from Bristol Community College, and also graduated from the MMBA Management Development Program in Residential Lending at Babson School of Financial Studies.
The long-time BankFive employee is involved in a variety of professional organizations, including the Salvation Army Advisory Board, Southern New England Credit Grantors, and Irish Heritage Association. She also volunteers with the United Way Mobile Market and the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.
In her spare time, Donna likes to travel and read. “I’d like to see more of the West Coast and Europe,” she notes. That may explain why she says she would probably be a travel agent if she hadn’t pursued a career in banking. Fortunately, the career path she chose has benefitted BankFive.
“I enjoy the challenge of my job, along with the people I work with,” Donna says.
