BankFive was recently named one of the 2023 Best Places to Work in Rhode Island by Providence Business News (PBN). The survey and awards program, created by PBN and Best Companies Group, recognizes and honors the best employers in Rhode Island who are benefiting the economy, workforce, and businesses across the state.
The list is made up of 67 companies, classified in four categories – Small Employers, Midsize Employers, Large Employers and Enterprise Employers – based on employee counts in the region. BankFive won for the Large Employers category.

Companies from Rhode Island entered a two-part survey process to determine the 2023 Best Places to Work in Rhode Island. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company's policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final rankings. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process, analyzed the data, and determined the final rankings.
The honorees will be recognized for their efforts on June 7th in a ceremony at Crowne Plaza Providence-Warwick, where the company rankings in each category will be announced. Each honoree will also be profiled in a special section of the June 9-22 print edition of PBN.
