Congratulations to Rose Vertentes on her recent milestone anniversary of 20 years of service with BankFive!
Rose began her career as a teller. Since then, she has advanced through many different roles at the bank, including Senior Teller, Branch Assistant, Branch Manager, Retail Assistant & Trainer and AVP Retail Administration. In her current role as VP, Retail Administration, her responsibilities are assisting with anything that relates to the Branch network. This includes staffing, core system questions, policies, procedures and training.
A resident of Somerset, Rose is a graduate from Bristol Community College with an Associate’s degree in Business Administration. She also graduated from New England School for Financial Studies and Leadership Southcoast. Before Rose joined BankFive, she was self-employed at her family owned bakery. Outside of work, Rose loves to read and go to antique shows.
Rose says that if life had sent her on a different career path, she would likely have become a teacher. We here at BankFive are very happy that Rose ended up choosing a career in banking instead. When asked what has kept her at BankFive for all these years, Rose says, “I love that we are still a community bank, we haven’t had to change to compete with the larger banks. Our customers are still our priority. As an employee I feel appreciated and not just a number.”
