Luke Lehman sees BankFive as a "big family" that's focused on seeing "people and businesses in this region thrive." As a Commercial Relationship Manager, he's well positioned to help make that happen.
A resident of Dartmouth, Luke is responsible for establishing new commercial relationships and maintaining and growing existing relationships. With nine years of banking experience - including roles as a credit analyst and senior teller at BankFive - he's prepared to serve commercial customers both large and small.
Luke's job keeps him busy, but he's just as busy when not at work, volunteering with a variety of organizations including New Life South Coast, SouthCoast Chamber of Commerce, United Way of Greater New Bedford, and Junior Achievement of Southeastern Massachusetts. On top of that, he manages to squeeze in a round of golf when the opportunity strikes.
He has a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Had he not chosen banking as a career path, he likely would have considered becoming a high school math teacher. "I have always had a passion for our future generation and would love to help educate them," he explains.
When Luke has some down time, his favorite spot to vacation is the Caribbean, where he looks forward to relaxing on the beach. And his favorite food? Beef and noodles with mashed potatoes. "It's an Indiana dish that I get once a year if I'm lucky," he says.
