BankFive announced today the hiring of two new branch managers. Fran Oliveira is the new manager for the Fairhaven branch on Huttleston Avenue, and Ismael Tavares is the new manager for the New Bedford branch on Acushnet Avenue.
Oliveira has more than 25 years of banking experience. Prior to joining BankFive, she was a personal banking representative at Santander Bank. She also held positions at Sovereign Bank, Compass Bank, Luzo Community Bank, and Shawmut Bank. Oliveira received a certificate in business administration from Kinyon-Campbell Business School, New Bedford. She is a youth financial mentor for Junior Achievement. Oliveira is fluent in Portuguese.
Before joining BankFive, Tavares worked as a select banker at Santander Bank. He holds a bachelor's degree in business management from Instituto Politécnico de Tomar in Portugal. He has Series 6 and Series 63 investment securities licenses. Tavares is fluent in Portuguese.
