Medeiros, one of several individuals to be honored at the banquet, is actively involved in the community. He is Secretary of the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army, and is also a Finance Committee Member. Medeiros, of Fall River, also serves on the boards of Greater Fall River Community RE-CREATION and Leadership SouthCoast. He also serves on the Advisory Board of the Fall River Area Board of the Massachusetts Department of Children & Families.
Among those who have recognized Medeiros for his outstanding community efforts is Jennifer Downing, Executive Director of Leadership SouthCoast. “Greg is a thoughtful and engaged leader who is deeply committed to working with others to improve and strengthen the City of Fall River,” Downing said in a testimonial to Medeiros.
And Grace Gerling, Executive Director of Greater Fall River RE-CREATION, also praised Medeiros: “Greg is a tremendous asset to the Greater Fall River RE-CREATION Committee, Inc. Board of Directors and his participation on the Building Committee has assisted us in moving forward toward the goals of the agency. Greg has been a member of the board for over a year and his passion and dedication to our agency's mission is greatly appreciated.”
Medeiros has been with BankFive for more than 25 years. His responsibilities at the Bank include all credit,
loan review and loan servicing functions. He has held a variety of positions at BankFive, spanning from retail
to servicing to information technology.
He is a graduate of Bristol Community College and Massachusetts School of Financial Studies and recently
completed his degree at New England College of Business and Finance in Boston
