Victoria Mateus joined the BankFive family just 3 years ago and has already made an impact in a variety of roles. In 2018 Victoria made the jump from a Sales Associate/Visual Merchandiser at Target into banking – and we’re so glad she did!Victoria, a Small Business Specialist, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems with a concentration in Business Management from UMass Dartmouth. Prior to her current role, Victoria worked at BankFive as a Teller, Senior Teller, and Universal Banker/Branch Assistant.
Today, Victoria helps ensure BankFive’s mission of world-class customer service to existing and prospective business customers at our Dartmouth branch. She and her team work to expand business banking relationships and help maximize opportunities for the local business owners we partner with.

If she was not a banker, Victoria says she would likely find herself in real estate. She is interested in real estate investing and currently owns rental property. Victoria is also a member of One SouthCoast Chamber, an organization aimed at helping small businesses in SouthCoast Massachusetts grow, in addition to Beta Gamma Sigma, an International Business Honor Society. Need a document notarized? No problem; she’s a Notary Public as well!
Victoria, like many of our employees, lives and works in Dartmouth, MA. If she is not at work, you will most likely find her reading at home with her cat or at the gym. With a Pisces astrological sign, she is creative and empathetic – the perfect traits to create meaningful relationships with our small business customers.
