BankFive, a community bank with locations in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, today announced the addition of Linda Simmons as EVP, CFO & Treasurer.
A corporate finance executive with 20 years of Chief Financial management experience, Simmons most recently served as EVP, CFO & Treasurer at HarborOne Bancorp, Inc. She brings a wealth of experience to BankFive, with expertise in Treasury, SEC reporting, Accounting, Finance, Investor Relations, Strategic Planning, Legal and Compliance, Project Management, Audit, and Human Resources. As the newest member of BankFive’s leadership team, she will help advance all aspects of the bank’s accounting and financial operations.

In her role as EVP, CFO & Treasurer at HarborOne Bancorp, Inc., Simmons was responsible for all aspects of accounting, treasury and corporate planning, government banking, SEC reporting, investor relations and corporate insurance. Over six years, she was instrumental in driving the strategic direction of the bank, maintaining a robust capital management plan, as well as introducing various asset and liability management tools and treasury functions.

Simmons earned an MBA from Suffolk University’s Sawyer Business School and a BS in Accounting from Babson College. In 2011, Simmons was a recipient of Providence Business News’ CFO Award for a Public Company Headquartered in Rhode Island.
