Andrea has been a long-time supporter of the community, dedicating her time to numerous organizations. She has a deep history with the United Way of Greater New Bedford, where she has served as a Loaned Executive, as well a Citizen Reviewer for their Community Building Mini-Grants Program. Andrea is also currently a member of the United Way’s “Women United” initiative, which focuses on sparking positive change in the areas of early childhood development and literacy. She also previously sat on the Campaign Cabinet for two of the organization’s annual campaigns, and volunteers with their Mobile Market, Hunger Heroes and Baby Bundles programs.
Andrea’s dedication to the SouthCoast community extends to other organizations and initiatives as well. She previously served as a board member for both Leadership SouthCoast and the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth’s Center for Marketing Research, and is currently a Corporator for the SouthCoast Community Foundation, where she serves as a member of the Grants Distribution Committee. Andrea has also volunteered with Veterans Transition House of New Bedford.
Andrea has been with BankFive since 2009. In addition to her duties as Vice President, Marketing Manager, she also serves as chair of the Bank’s Charitable Giving Committee and oversees the BankFive Fund Foundation at the SouthCoast Community Foundation. Andrea holds a master’s degree in Business Administration and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, and has over 16 years of marketing and communications experience in the financial services industry.
