As a community bank, we at BankFive are proud of our role as a partner investing in our Massachusetts and Rhode Island neighborhoods. If you’re part of a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization in need of financial assistance or sponsorship support, we want to hear from you.
Our Focus Areas
We support and participate in local events and activities that benefit the following areas:
- Equity-Based Youth Programs: Providing equitable opportunities for youth to succeed through education, mentorship, and leadership initiatives.
- Community Health Services & Basic Needs: Addressing critical needs such as healthcare access, food security, and essential services to enhance quality of life.
- Underserved Communities: Initiatives assisting with affordable housing and revitalization in underserved communities.
- Business and Economic Development: Programs that enhance business and economic growth.
- Arts & Culture: Supporting programs that enrich communities through creative and cultural experiences.
- Financial Literacy: Empowering individuals and families with the tools and knowledge needed for effective financial management and planning.
Geographic Eligibility
Your organization must operate in and provide services to at least one of the following communities:
- Bristol County, Massachusetts
- Barnstable County, Massachusetts
- Bristol County, Rhode Island
- Newport County, Rhode Island
- Washington County, Rhode Island
- Providence County, Rhode Island
- Kent County, Rhode Island
Application Process
To apply for a donation, please follow the steps below. All requests must be submitted online. This is the only method by which applications will be reviewed. A minimum of two months prior to the deadline is needed to evaluate and process incoming requests.
Please do not drop off materials at our branches or send them by mail.
- Gather and prepare the required documents:
- A copy of your 501(c)(3) nonprofit status form
- A copy of your taxpayer identification number (W-9 form)
- A brief cover letter on organizational letterhead providing relevant information not included in the request form, including your mission statement
- Sponsorship levels and ad specification materials, if applicable
