BankFive announced that it has hired Leah Prata Smith and Jonathan Sousa to its rapidly expanding Business Banking Team.
Jennifer Dooling, SVP, Director of Business Banking, announced that Leah Prata Smith has joined as Vice President, Business Development Officer, and Jonathan Sousa as Vice President, Business Development Officer. She states, “We are excited to have Leah and Jonathan join BankFive and to assist us with further developing our Business Banking Team. The initial response to this new initiative of BankFive had been very gratifying. Leah and Jonathan will play important roles in expanding on the success of our initial efforts.
Leah joins BankFive with more than 25 years of experience filling a variety of roles serving banking needs of clients in the Massachusetts and Rhode Island market. She has shown a great interest in the personalized approach to banking for which BankFive is known for. Leah knows the importance of having a banker as a trusted business partner who can save customers time and energy.
Jonathan has 13 years of supporting banking clients along the SouthCoast. He will now apply that experience to the benefit of BankFive clients. His career has focused on client and business relationship management. He brings a well-honed understanding of the unique role played by community banks in the Massachusetts and Rhode Island areas.

The group comprises Small Business Specialists and Business Development Officers that are experienced in meeting the special requirements of these clients.
